The Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation - Risk Management / Policy and Procedure Consultation is aimed and evaluating those university programs affecting the day to day health care of the student-athlete.  Participation in this program is a 24 month process in an effort to address the current state of the program, determine available resources, develop an alternative solution, implement the program and then follow-up of results.  The Risk Management Assessment includes all programs effecting the sports medicine program for which are not revenue in nature however could easily be included into the program with no additional cost.  Revenue and Reimbursement considerations as well as Cost-Containment and Insurance would be the additional services available.

On-Campus Visit:
The Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation Review Team (Staff Member and Advisory Board Member) will be assigned to the review team.  All staff and advisory board members will be available based upon expertise and need.  Topics, times, discussion groups will be assigned by the university contact person (Head Athletic Trainer)  Visit could be consist of one day or three days depending upon the universities needs.  Discussion groups can include as many or as few individuals as the schools feels necessary.  CSMF encourages broad representation in order to get a well rounded discussion as well as broad support for the program.

This is an example schedule and thus each institution would be able to determine the topics, attendees and timetable for their program.  We would also be happy to participate in any classroom discussions / lecture including meetings with Athletic Training Student Organizations and their officers.
NCAA Division I-A = $5,000 (Plus Expenses)

NCAA Division I-AA, AAA = $3,500 (Plus Expenses)

NCAA Division II = $2,500 (Plus Expenses)

NCAA Division III, NAIA and JC = $1,000 (Plus Expenses)
Note: If provided in conjunction with Cost-Containment Program or Revenue and Reimbursement Program the Fee is 50% off.
Upon completion of the On-Campus visit the Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation will remain active in the development of programs and policies discussed and upon need for follow-up visits will do so for expenses only. 

The Review Team will provide a detailed report of findings with recommendations and documentation for further development and evaluation of the programs reviewed.

This is an ongoing process for which the Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation Review Team will be part of until the completion of the project, program development, policy development.
