The Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation – Center for College and University Sports Medicine Revenue and Reimbursement mission is to provide philosophical, logistical and developmental support to further the revenue to fund sports medicine services. This mission would be achieved through educational materials, programs and consults to institutions. As an ever increasing area of interest within the collegiate sports medicine area, the ultimate funding source would be from those institutions receiving benefit from the center in an effort to broaden the availability to other universities.
The center would provide reimbursement models and concepts by those universities successfully receiving reimbursement for services provided. The center would establish a registration process for those schools that have been successful in a revenue model and posted (if acceptable to the institution) to the center’s web page and educational materials for the purpose of providing support to those schools pursuing such programs. The center would also establish a registration process for those institutions seeking a model of reimbursement for services provided in an attempt to determine those in need as well as the number of programs involved in this process.
The center would provide a educational programs aimed at assisting college and universities in this area. In addition the center would make available the possibility of presenting to other organizations and groups when appropriate and practical.
The Center for College and University Sports Medicine Revenue and Reimbursement within the Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation would encourage the collaboration with other organizations and groups with a similar mission and purpose.
