Center for Athletic Training Student Organizations and Student Leadership

The Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation – Center for College and University Athletic Training Student Organizations and Student Leadership in partnership with Cramer Products, Inc. is dedicated to providing environments for athletic training students to gain knowledge, experiences, mentoring and guidance in the development and advancement of athletic training student organizations thus exposing students to leadership opportunities ultimately leading to a productive and successful career as a certified athletic trainer.  This center would provide resources for student organizations to maximize the experiences in the college and university setting by furthering their professional preparation via the student association experience.  The center would assist these organizations with development of the following:

Constitution and By-Laws, Goals and Objectives, Activity Ideas, Educational Experiences, Team Building, Fund-raising
Leadership, Meeting Planning, Roberts’ Rules of Order, Committee Development

The center would like to develop a Discussion Group aimed at assisting organization / association leaders to interact with others of similar status and provide a communication for the exchange of ideas.

The center would host the Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation Student Leadership Workshop for twenty students representing each NATA district aimed at providing assistance in the areas mentioned above as well as preparing these selected students for leadership positions within the profession while exposing them to accelerated and higher level thinking.
